Covers their history, including efforts to remove them from their homeland to reservations in the west, their treatment by the government, and the legacy of Chief Yellow Thunder. Interviews with Winnebago Indians from the Wisconsin Dells area today show that they are striving to preserve knowledge of their traditions and to educate others about their culture.
