Nat Birchall is one of the most important representatives of the British Jazz scene. Costas Voultsidis is the inspirer of Duende Jazz Bar in Larissa, in 2009. The documentary traces their paths and focuses on the creation of the legendary album Nat Birchall Quintet: Live In Larissa, which received universal acclaim from audiences and critics in 2014. It is an album that became the reason for a deep human relationship and created new perspectives in the career of the unconventional artist Nat Birchall. It was the year that many music lovers wondered: “Where is Larissa? What happened in Larissa?”
We wanted to create a really special live performance for our fans, seeing as we haven’t been able to be together in quite awhile. So we returned to the place where we recorded A Black Mile To The Surface and played the album in its entirety. We are so excited to share this film, for free, to everybody. This album and your reception to it has exceeded our expectations, and we felt this the best way to thank you all for supporting our music. This feels like the perfect way to close the Black Mile chapter, and I’m excited to say that this is more than just a concert. It’s also the beginning. So tune in February 12th at 8PM est. Love you.
Rosalina comes back after her music cruise, but Michel (the French guy Rosalina kissed on the cruise) also comes back, criticizes Nat's music, and kisses Rosalina which Nat sees. This causes a heated fight between Nat and Rosalina in which they break up and Rosalina quits the band.
