Lex Renteria is a Mexican filmmaker recognized for his bold and personal approach to visual storytelling. Over a decade in the audiovisual arts, with a background in film and experience as a product designer, have enriched his creative vision. His vibrant style, inherited from the nocturnal energy of Guadalajara, is transformed into visual art in each project. An example of this is his short film "Agaves al Alba", made in just 48 hours as part of the Rally Expresso Tequila at the Tequila International Film Festival. This short film tells the story of two friends and their inevitable farewell, confirming Lex's talent and skill in capturing complex emotions in a short format. Lex is convinced that "telling our stories is an act of resistance". Cinema becomes his tool to make diversity visible, celebrate resilience, and amplify the voices of his community.
