Biography

Jason lives to create and manipulate images, telling visual stories that excite viewers. By weaving together his knowledge of design, art, music, and creative writing, Jason’s goal is to provoke an emotional response with any project that falls under his fingertips. After working for Emmy-winning director Michael Spiller for six years on The Mindy Project, Jason shifted his focus to editing. He became the contractual video editor for IngleDodd Media and Honeysweet Productions, helping produce award show and web-based content for various Hollywood guilds and studios. He was honored to work on high-profile panels at Comic Con (2017-2022), including editing work for the sold-out Black Panther panel in 2018. In 2020, Jason helped develop virtual FYC panels for clients like Apple TV+, NBCUniversal, and Focus Features. He directed these live events and also provided all post-production and motion graphic work. Regarding award shows, Jason edited numerous videos for the Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards (2018-2022), including the opening montages and a career reel for Sir Patrick Stewart which he called “the best video of my career.” In 2021, Jason was the Art Director and Editor for the virtual Cinema Audio Society awards, supplying all the visual content for the two-hour show. And in 2022, he became the editor for the Costume Designer Guild Awards, one of the most prestigious and star-studded award shows in Hollywood.
