Sofia Voss is a 23-year-old filmmaker and writer from rural Missouri. Greatly inspired by both the naturalistic and eccentric, Sofia navigates a world that is both stylized and true. Growing up in a small conservative and largely intolerant community has given her a new perspective from which she makes her films. In 2022, Sofia graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia, with degrees in Film Production and Art History, a 4.0 GPA, and status as an Honor Student. Now, Sofia attends Columbia University in New York for an MFA in Screenwriting/Directing where she also works as a Video Content Producer for the International Students and Scholars Office.
