Biography

Peter D'Alessio (or Pietro, as he is sometimes known) grew up in the little hamlet of Plant City, Florida (also known as the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World!), the youngest of 7 children. A graduate of Plant City High School, Pietro scored his first acting success with the town's local community theater in 1991 with a leading role in the play The Desk Set. From there, Pietro found himself on the fast track to success in the acting business. A move to Chicago in early 1992 quickly resulted in a recurring role on the syndicated television series The Untouchables, a breakthrough introduction to the industry that was soon followed by more film, television, and theater roles. Several years later, a move to Hollywood, California brought Pietro into the production side of the business, and he found himself with steady work as a casting director and producer on a variety of projects for many years. Returning to Plant City in 2001, Pietro opened up his own production company, Yo Soy Irini Productions. Under Pietro's guidance and leadership, Yo Soy Irini Productions experienced success from the start and brought new film and television projects to the central Florida area. After two years, Pietro felt the time was right to move on to other projects. He returned to Hollywood for a time, then took an extensive break from the industry to travel throughout Europe and work on his writing. Feeling refreshed and renewed by his European travels, Pietro headed back to the states and has now jumped back into the acting pool head first. Going back to his roots, Pietro has returned to his first love, Chicago, and is busily booking acting roles at a furious pace. He intends to make himself a lasting presence in the industry and is continually seeking out ways to build upon and improve in his chosen craft.
