Alexander Mikhailovich Tatarsky (Ukranian: Олександр Михайлович Татарський; Russian: Александр Михайлович Татарский; December 11, 1950 – July 22, 2007; Kyiv – Moscow) was a Ukrainian-born Soviet and Russian animation director, screenwriter, animator, producer, artist, co-founder and artistic director of the Pilot Studio. Merited Artist of the Russian Federation (2000). Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (1998).
