Synopsis
Bad boy street kid Johnny Sanchez (Ernie Reyes, Jr.) feeds his pride during his prison sentence
by fghting in “gladiator wars” promoted by his warden, Harbin Rask (John Savage). The little money he wins from this brutal life, he sends to his past love (Sara Downing) and their son, Oscar, who he hasn’t seen in fve years. The warden (John Savage), gives Johnny a second
chance at life, by sponsoring him to fght in The Red Canvas, a professional MMA tournament
ruled by General Insou Krang (George Takei), an ex-Vietcong General, now operating as a corrupt mogul in the biotech industry. Once released from prison and faced with the plight of his broken family, Johnny finds that raw talent is not enough. Heroes must learn to fight with weapons forged in the heart.

Great movie. The story and action keep you glued to the screen to see what will happen next. I especially enjoyed the performance of Johnny’s mother and his grand father. The movie is more than just about fighting but shows that hard work and persistance can get you the best rewards and recognition, as well as the respect and love from family members. We can all learn lessons of life from this movie as well as enjoying the action, drama and humour.
