This sweet and absolutely touching story stirred something deep inside my heart that had unknowingly been buried for a very long time. And then to realize it was based on a true story ……..
I wish the film writers, producers, directors, actors would give us more stories that renew the belief in goodness and love and loyalty that we all once had. We’ve seen enough of the corrupt and dark side of people and life to last an eternity. This little dog obviously touched the people in Japan when he was alive and has now touched my life years later in another place far away, even in another century.
This is what good stories do. Thank you Richard Gere and Than you Hachi.
