Synopsis
Michael Dublin is a full-time con man working the underground boxing circuit. A lonely drifter on the run from his past, he moves from one scam to another, leaving a trail of enemies in his wake.
When he’s caught red-handed in his most recent con, Katherine Parker, a sexy, young prizefighter, saves Dublin’s life miraculously. She takes down a man twice her size with a battery of blows, stunning Dublin with her talent. In a scheme he calls “fight-rigging, in reverse,” Dublin coerces Kat to fight for him and together they hit the road working the underground scene. In seedy basement bars, abandoned warehouses and backwoods county fairs, Dublin and Kat clean up the competition—and the cash piles up. But when Dublin’s shady past finally catches up to them, they realize that the stakes are higher – and more dangerous—than they had ever imagined.

Fight Night was probably one of the better movies I’ve seen this year. May not get the hoopla of a big studio pic, but the acting and script were top notch. Oh yes, and the action/fight scenes were good too. But lost in the trailer is the fact that the lead characters were quite developed and multi-dimensional, and their interaction was surprisingly natural and witty. You really get behind the characters which gives you so much more involvement in the fight scenes.
THIS IS A REALLY GREAT MOVIE
Fantastic movie, maybe one of my top 3 favorite fight movies ever. Watch it.
